Awoke to find myself on Kirstie Gillon-Wood’s “5 Greatest Business Mums” list. From a profesional perspective, peer recognition is fantastic on so many levels and brings with it all kinds of positive flow on effects. Thanks Kirstie !
“No More Supermum 5 Greatest Business Mums 2011″
I’ve created this list because we can all learn from others (whether you’re in business or not), and no matter what type of business you run. And if you’re not on the list, no offense.
For the purpose of this list, “greatest” means thinking outside of the box, deeply impacting others, making a difference in people’s lives and having a great attitude.
Are there more great business mums out there that I didn’t list? Absolutely, but this is only a short list! Feel free to comment if there are ones you feel were unfairly left off this list. Here they are in alphabetical order. Enjoy!
Frances McInnes for her “My Heart’s Content” t-shirt campaign fundraising for PND. www.breastmates.co.nz
Jocelyn Brewer for keeping it real and delivering plus size maternity clothes. www.mamamore.co.nz
Louise Deed for her commitment to all things eco and family friendly. www.scamps.co.nz
Louise Donnelly-Davey for bringing her sharp intelligence along with her playful humour to PR and Marketing. www.eepmedia.com
Marilynn McLachlan for her aptitude for growing an enormous membership site, then having the courage to let it go. www.mumsontop.co.nz
